Kathryn studied at Edinburgh College of Art as part of the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 2018 with a First Class Honours Degree in Jewellery & Silversmithing. After graduating she returned home to Ballymoney, Northern Ireland and set up her small business on the family farm. Her work is hugely inspired by the wee place that she calls ‘home’, taking inspiration from the farm she grew up on as well as the stunning North Coast of Northern Ireland. Kathryn’s pieces are handmade in sterling silver as well as in 9ct yellow gold. Ever since 2018 Kathryn’s small business has continued to grow and she is now working full time as Kathryn Reid Jewellery selling her jewellery globally.
